About the Author

Anjali Bhimani is an award-winning actor whose career spans across stage and screen from Broadway to feature films, television, video games, animation, and original online content. She is most proud of her leading roles as partner-in-crime to her husband, Rick, and as mother of Charley the Best Dog, and can be seen driving or walking the pup while wearing her hot rollers on the streets of West Hollywood, where they all currently reside.

Her television and film credits include Ms. Marvel, Special, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Marvel’s Runaways, Modern Family, The Sopranos, and many more. She is well known to gaming and animation audiences for her roles as Symmetra in Overwatch, Rampart in Apex Legends, the proud and feisty Miriam on UnDeadwood, the noble Fy’ra Rai on Exandria Unlimited by Critical Role, and the strong-headed sniper Stingray in We’re Alive: Frontier on the popular YouTube channel Geek and Sundry.

She earned her degree in theatre from Northwestern University’s highly acclaimed theatre school, with a certificate in musical theatre, and spent years performing across the country in top organizations such as Second Stage, Manhattan Theatre Club, The Goodman Theatre, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, The McCarter Theatre, The Huntington Theatre Company, and more. She has
collaborated with theatre luminaries such as director Mary Zimmerman, writer Tony Kushner, and legendary composers A.R. Rahman and Andrew Lloyd Webber. She was an original cast member of the Tony-nominated Metamorphoses on Broadway, which won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Play.

She is the creator of I Am Fun Size, a YouTube series in which she shares her experiences and interviews other well-known performers to help people find their fullest lives through life’s challenges.
